Leaflets of support
After losing a friend to suicide. Our founder went through what many go through when someone tragically takes their life.
"Why didn't he reach out? The last time we spoke, I remember him telling me he struggled with his mental health, and I said to him, Mate, no matter what time of day, please ring me. I'm a mental health nurse; it's what I do. But he didn't." - Our founder Alex.

The fact is, there are loads of useful services out there, and there are several helplines that can really help people when they are at a point of crisis. But we have found that often it requires a bit of Google. A bit of research. When are people at this point in their lives? That motivation may be lacking.

We decided something had to change. We decided to create a leaflet with a variety of services local to Kent and Medway. Including helplines for;

-
Mental health
-
Suicide
-
Substance misuse
-
Domestic Abuse

Within 48 hours. Nearly £2000 had been crowdfunded to develop these leaflets, and 16,000 were printed. We are proud to say that we have nearly dispensed all of these to a variety of services, including;

-
Kent police
-
Our local NHS trust
-
Local charities
-
Local Shops

These leaflets serve a purpose. It is our hope that these leaflets can remain in someone's pocket. And can be there when the need it. If of the 16,000 leaflets can save one life, then it will all have been worth it.
With thanks to those who donated.
We would like to thank every single local organisation that generously donated to the development of these leaflets. (Future Interests, Inclusive Fitness, Sports Connect, Millie Bishop Therapies, Herne Bay Hollistic Health, Amelix LTD. You guys made this all possible.

Our hub.
Our leaflet is also available as a PDF. We have a QR code that takes you straight to the leaflets in a digital format on our office door, which is on the high street of Herne Bay

Whats next?
With nearly all 16,000 dispensed, we now look to print even more, and the ultimate goal is to have this in every shop, pub and organisation across Kent and Medway.
